OUR CAR RENTAL POLICY
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- All monthly rental plans are valid for 30 days
- Customers are required to make the payment in advance
- The customer understands that the cars rented from Driver Car Rental are for use on paved roads only. Any off-road usage is not allowed without written permission

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
The following documents are required to rent a car from Driver Car Rental.
For UAE Residents:
- A valid UAE driving license. The license should be valid for a period of a minimum of one year.
- Copy of the Emirates ID
For Foreign Nationals:
- A Valid International Driving Permit
- Copy of Passport
- Copy of Visa
Soft copies of the documents might be accepted at the discretion of the company. However, customers might be asked to produce the original documents at the time of final paperwork.
Please note that the citizens of the following countries possessing a valid driving license do not require IDP

RETURN POLICY
- The customer renting the car must return it at the end of the rental period, in perfect condition. The fuel tank should have the same amount of fuel in the tank as when the vehicle was rented out. Additional charges might be if the amount of fuel is found to be lower.
- If the person renting the car is under the age of 23 years, or the driving license is issued for less than a year, then the customer will need to pay the full value of the car in case of an accident.
- The monthly mileage allowance is 4500KM. If the usage is beyond that, then additional charges of AED 0.50 per KM will need to be paid by the customer.
- A grace period of 2 hours will be allowed on the return date. A delay of more than 2 hours will incur additional charges that would be equal to the rental charges for a complete day.
- For pick-up requests on the return date, the customer should inform the company over the phone at least 4 hours before the pick-up time.
- The timings for returning the rental vehicles are between Saturday to Thursday 9 AM to 10 PM
SECURITY DEPOSIT
- Security Deposit payments can be made in cash, credit card, or in any other way the company deems to be fit from time to time.
- In the case of credit card payments, a pre-authorization is taken from the customer’s credit card when the vehicle is being rented out. The pre-authorization amount would be AED 1000. The pre-authorization amount might be kept with the company for a period of up to 15 days or till the time when details of the traffic fines and Salik updates from the Road and Transport Authorities (RTA) of the concerned Emirate are received.
- In case of cash payments, the company might hold the deposit amount for a period of 15 days or till the time the details of the late traffic fines and Salik updates from the Road and Transport Authorities (RTA) of Dubai are received. After making suitable deductions, the amount will be transferred to the bank account of the customer, or through Western Union, or through any other modes both the parties find suitable
SCHEDULE OF CHARGES
- Insurance will not be valid in case of the driver’s name is not mentioned in the agreement. In case the car is damaged in such cases, the customer will be required to pay full repair cost, along with the garage rent and an amount of 10% of the new car value.
- The customer is liable to pay an amount of AED 1000 as insurance excess amount in case of any damage, including scratches, dents, or scrapings. The amount might be revised from time to time and will be mentioned in the rental agreement.
- The customer would need to pay all the traffic fines during his usage. All such fines must be paid within 3 days to Driver Car Rental. The customer will also need to pay the AED 20 as an admin fee. In case of fines with black points, the fines must be paid in full within 48 hours of being issued.
